1 ਜਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੇ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ, ਤਦ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੁਫ਼ਨੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਸੀ!
2 ਤਦ ਸਾਡੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਹਾਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਜੀਭਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਸੀ, ਤਦ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ!
3 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਅਸੀਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਏ ਹਾਂ!
4 ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਸਾਡੇ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਦੱਖਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆ!
5 ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੀਜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਢਣਗੇ।
6 ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੀਜਣ ਲਈ ਬੀਜ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ!
