About Hebrews 11

The hall of faith defines its subject — the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen — then walks through Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Rahab, and more, each commended for acting on promises they had not yet received. These all died in faith, seeking a heavenly country, and the chapter sets up the call to run our own race surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses.
