And Cain knew his wife, and having conceived she bore Enoch; and he built a city; and he named the city after the name of his son, Enoch.

And to Enoch was born Irad; and Irad begot Mehujael; and Mehujael begot Methushael; and Methushael begot Lamech.

And Jared lived a hundred and sixty and two years, and begot Enoch.

And Jared lived after his begetting Enoch, eight hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters.

And Enoch lived a hundred and sixty and five years, and begot Methuselah.

And Enoch was well-pleasing to God after his begetting Methuselah, two hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters.

And all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty and five years.

And Enoch was well-pleasing to God, and was not found, because God translated him.

And the sons of Midian were Ephah and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah; all these were sons of Keturah.

And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.

And these are the heads of the houses of their families: the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi, this is the kindred of Reuben.

Reuben was the firstborn of Israel: and the sons of Reuben, Hanoch, and the family of Hanoch; to Pallu belongs the family of the Palluites.

Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech,

and the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah; all these were the sons of Keturah.

The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.

Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Enoch pleased the Lord, and was translated, Being an example of repentance to all generations.

But upon the earth was no man created like Enoch; For he was taken from the earth.

The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be

living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. Before these things Enoch was hidden, and no one of the children of men knew where he was

And I Enoch was blessing the Lord of majesty and the King of the ages, and lo! the Watchers

And Enoch went and said: 'Azazel, thou shalt have no peace: a severe sentence has gone forth

nigh to Him did not leave by night nor depart from Him. And until then I had been prostrate on my face, trembling: and the Lord called me with His own mouth, and said to me: ' Come hither,

And He answered and said to me, and I heard His voice: 'Fear not, Enoch, thou righteous

went astray shall become sirens.' And I, Enoch, alone saw the vision, the ends of all things: and no man shall see as I have seen.

And he said unto me: 'Enoch, why dost thou ask me regarding the fragrance of the tree,

wrought on the earth. And now, my father, I am here to petition thee and implore thee that thou mayest go to Enoch, our father, and learn from him the truth, for his dwelling-place is

son, which has been born, is in truth his son, and that (this) is no lie.' And when Methuselah had heard the words of his father Enoch-for he had shown to him everything in secret-he returned and showed (them) to him and called the name of that son Noah; for he will comfort the earth after all the destruction.
