1 ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
2 ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਸੇਈਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਵੱਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰ।
3 ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਵੇਖ, ਹੇ ਸੇਈਰ ਪਰਬਤ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਸਾਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਡਰ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
4 ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾੜਾਂਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਉੱਜੜ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣੇਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ!
5 ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
6 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਲਹੂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਲਹੂ ਤੋਂ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲਹੂ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
7 ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਸੇਈਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾੜਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਕੱਟ ਸੁੱਟਾਂਗਾ।
8 ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵੱਢਿਆ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਹੋਏ ਤੇਰਿਆਂ ਟਿੱਲਿਆਂ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਣਗੇ।
9 ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਉਜਾੜ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ, ਤੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਫੇਰ ਨਾ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
10 ਤੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦੇਸ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਸੀ।
11 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਅਣਖ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਰਤਾਰਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ।
12 ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣੇਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ, ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉੱਜੜ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਹੜੱਪ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ, ਸੁਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
13 ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਸੁਣ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹਾਂ।
14 ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਦੇਸ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉਜਾੜਾਂਗਾ।
15 ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਦੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਨ ਅਨੰਦ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਹੇ ਸੇਈਰ ਪਰਬਤ, ਤੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਅਦੋਮ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
