1 ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ ਮੋੜ ਕੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬੰਦ ਸੀ।
2 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਫਾਟਕ ਬੰਦ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੜੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਬੰਦ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
3 ਪਰ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰ ਹੈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਇਹ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
4 ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਡਿੱਠਾ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਭਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਭਾਰ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ।
5 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਆਪਣਾ ਦਿਲ ਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਲਈ, ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਉਣ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਾ।
6 ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਆਕੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਣਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸਮਝੀਂ।
7 ਸੋ ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਰੋਟੀ, ਚਰਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਬੇਸੁੰਨਤੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਸੁੰਨਤੇ ਮਾਸ ਵਾਲੀ ਓਪਰੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਏ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਲੀਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਿਆ।
8 ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਓਪਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਖ਼ਾ ਥਾਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
9 ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੀ ਓਪਰੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਓਪਰੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਕੋਈ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਬੇਸੁੰਨਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਮਾਸ ਦਾ ਬੇਸੁੰਨਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਵੜੇਗਾ।
10 ਪਰ ਲੇਵੀ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹਟੇ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਣਗੇ।
11 ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਬਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।
12 ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੋਕਰ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣੇ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਣਗੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
13 ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਾ ਆ ਸਕਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਜਕ ਬਣਨ, ਨਾ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਉਠਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕੀਤੇ।
14 ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਰਾਖੇ ਥਾਪਾਂਗਾ।
15 ਪਰ ਲੇਵੀ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ਼ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬੇਮੁੱਖ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਚਰਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
16 ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੇਜ਼ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ, ਭਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਫਰਜ਼ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
17 ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਹ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੜਨਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕਤਾਨੀ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਹਿਨੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਕੋਈ ਊਨੀ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਨਾ ਪਹਿਨਣਗੇ।
18 ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਤਾਨੀ ਅਮਾਮੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੱਕ ਤੇ ਕਤਾਨੀ ਪਜਾਮੇ ਪਹਿਨਣਗੇ। ਜਿਹੜੀ ਵਸਤੂ ਪਸੀਨੇ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਵੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੱਕ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣ।
19 ਜਦੋਂ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਆਉਣ, ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਲੀੜੇ ਲਾਹ ਕੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਲੀੜੇ ਪਾ ਲੈਣਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਸਤਰਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ।
20 ਨਾ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾਉਣਗੇ, ਨਾ ਵਾਲ਼ ਵਧਾਉਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਕੇਵਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਲ਼ ਕਤਰਾਉਣਗੇ।
21 ਜਦੋਂ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਜਕ ਮੈ ਨਾ ਪੀਵੇ।
22 ਉਹ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਜਾਂ ਛੁੱਟੜ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਨਸਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਆਰੀਆਂ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ, ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੀ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਾਉਣਗੇ।
23 ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਦੱਸਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਿਖਾਉਣਗੇ।
24 ਉਹ ਝਗੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਖਲੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਿਆਂਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਪਰਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਬਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
25 ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਮੁਰਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਪਰ ਕੇਵਲ ਪਿਤਾ, ਮਾਤਾ, ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਧੀ, ਭਰਾ ਜਾਂ ਭੈਣ ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ।
26 ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਕ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਸੱਤ ਦਿਨ ਗਿਣਨਗੇ।
27 ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ, ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਪਾਪ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇਗਾ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
28 ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਿਰਾਸ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਰਾਸ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਨਾ ਦੇਣਾ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਹਾਂ।
29 ਉਹ ਮੈਦੇ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ, ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਖਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਸਤੂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਪਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
30 ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਫਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਗੁੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਟੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਰਕਤ ਹੋਵੇ।
31 ਪਰ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਦਰਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਫਾੜਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ, ਕੀ ਪੰਛੀ, ਕੀ ਪਸ਼ੂ, ਜਾਜਕ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਖਾਣ।
