1 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ
2 ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਣ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਨ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸੁਣਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਘਰਾਣਾ ਹੈ।
3 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਦੇਸ ਨਿਕਾਲੇ ਲਈ ਸਮਾਨ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਸੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾ। ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਸ ਨਿਕਾਲੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾ। ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਣ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਘਰਾਣਾ ਹੈ।
4 ਤੂੰ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦੇਸ ਨਿਕਾਲੇ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾ, ਜੋ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਲਈ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
5 ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਕੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਹ ਬਣਾ ਉਸ ਰਾਹ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾ।
6 ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੋਢੇ ਤੇ ਚੁੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢ ਲੈ ਜਾ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਢੱਕ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਵੇਖ ਸਕੇਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
7 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦੇਸ ਨਿਕਾਲੇ ਲਈ ਕੱਢਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਹ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਮੋਢੇ ਤੇ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਿਆ।
8 ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ,
9 ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਕੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਘਰਾਣਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
10 ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਵਾਕ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਜ਼ਾਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
11 ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਦੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹਾਂ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਦੇਸ ਨਿਕਾਲਾ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
12 ਸ਼ਹਿਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਮੋਢੇ ਤੇ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਕੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਹ ਬਣਾਏਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਰਾਹ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਢੱਕੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੇਗਾ।
13 ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਾਲ਼ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਫਾਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਬਾਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
14 ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਇਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੱਥਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਖਿਲਾਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
15 ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਟਕਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੱਤਰ-ਬਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।
16 ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ, ਕਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣ, ਉਹ ਜਾਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।
17 ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
18 ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਕੰਬਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਖਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਬਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਤੇ ਡਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀ!
19 ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਫ਼ਿਕਰ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਪੀਣਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦੇਸ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਖਾਲੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
20 ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਜੜ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਦੇਸ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
21 ਫਿਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
22 ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ! ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਕਹਾਉਤ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਸਮਾਂ ਲੰਘਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ?
23 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਦੇ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਕਹਾਉਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਵਰਤਣਗੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਟਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ।
24 ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਝੂਠਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਪਲੂਸੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਭਾਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
25 ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਬਚਨ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਬਚਨ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਢਿੱਲ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੇ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਘਰਾਣੇ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਚਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
26 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਫੇਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
27 ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਵੇਖ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਘਰਾਣਾ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਉਸ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਦੂਰ ਦੇ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
28 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੱਲ ਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਢਿੱਲ ਨਾ ਪਵੇਗੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਗੱਲ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
