1 ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
2 ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੂੰ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਸਾਗਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਗੱਦੀ ਤੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੈਂ।
3 ਵੇਖ, ਤੂੰ ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਭੇਤ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ!
4 ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਲ ਨਾਲ ਧਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ, ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
5 ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਨਾਲ, ਆਪਣਾ ਧਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਧਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
6 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਿਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
7 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਜੋ ਵੱਡੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਹਨ, ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਖਿੱਚਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
8 ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਥੱਲੇ ਉਤਾਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਮਰੇਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਾਗਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਵੱਢੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
9 ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਢਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖੇਂਗਾ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ? ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਢਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੈਂ।
10 ਤੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਬੇਸੁੰਨਤੇ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਮਰੇਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
11 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
12 ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਤੇ ਵੈਣ ਪਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਉੱਤਮਤਾਈ ਦੀ ਮੋਹਰ ਹੈਂ, ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਹੈਂ।
13 ਤੂੰ ਅਦਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ, ਹਰੇਕ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲਾ ਪੱਥਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਢੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਲਾਲ ਅਕੀਕ, ਸੁਨਹਿਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਧਿਯਾ ਬਿਲੌਰ, ਬੈਰੂਜ, ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਸ਼ਬ, ਨੀਲਮ, ਪੰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਬਰਜਦ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ। ਤੇਰੇ ਤਮੂਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਬੰਸਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਰੀਗਰੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਉਤਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।
14 ਤੂੰ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਢੱਕਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਸੀ।
15 ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਸੀ, ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫੀ ਪਾਈ ਗਈ।
16 ਤੇਰੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਭਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਨਾਪਾਕੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਢੱਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
17 ਤੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੁਹੱਪਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਮੰਡੀ ਸੀ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਲਈ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਪਟਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੱਕ ਲੈਣ।
18 ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫੀ ਦੇ ਕਰਕੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਅੱਗ ਕੱਢੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁਆਹ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
19 ਉੱਮਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਤੂੰ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ।
20 ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
21 ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੂੰ ਸੀਦੋਨ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰ,
22 ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਖ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਾਂ, ਹੇ ਸੀਦੋਨ! ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਠਹਿਰਾਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
23 ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਵਾ ਭੇਜਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਹੂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਡਿੱਗਣਗੇ, ਜੋ ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸਿਓਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲੇਗੀ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
24 ਤਦ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ, ਕੋਈ ਚੁੱਭਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਝਾੜੀ ਜਾਂ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੰਡਾ ਨਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ!
25 ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਖਿੱਲਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ, ਵੱਸਣਗੇ।
26 ਉਹ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਘਰ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ, ਅੰਗੂਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਗ਼ ਲਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਸਨ, ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ।
