伊格内修斯的殉难
第 4 章：伊格内修写给教会的信。
他说了这些话，并以这种方式作了见证，通过他美好的忏悔和那些与他一起为即将到来的冲突祈祷的人们的真诚，他像一个即将获得天堂的人一样，表达了他对基督的爱。他还想感谢那些通过教会领袖来见他的教会，给他们寄去了充满属灵恩典的感谢信，以及祷告和鼓励。因此，他看到大家对他如此友好，又担心兄弟之情可能会阻碍他为主献身，而殉道的良机却摆在他面前，于是他写了这封给罗马教会的书信。
