第 8 章：没有主教，什么都做不了
你们要像基督耶稣跟随天父一样跟随主教，像跟随使徒一样跟随长老会。你们也要尊敬执事，因为他们通过自己的职位执行上帝的任命。没有主教，任何人都不能做任何与教会有关的事情。由主教或他所委托的人主持的圣餐礼，才算正式的圣餐礼。主教在哪里，众人也就在哪里；正如基督在哪里，整个天庭就在哪里，作为主的大军总管和一切智慧的主宰，他们都在那里。没有主教，施洗、献祭、献祭或庆祝爱宴都是不合法的。但凡是在主教看来好的事，也都是上帝所喜悦的，这样你们所做的一切才会安全有效。
