第 9 章：《旧约全书》很好：新约》更好
祭司和传道者确实是好的，但大祭司更好，因为圣所交托给了他，只有他被托付了上帝的秘密。上帝的大能是好的。保惠师是圣洁的，道也是圣洁的，他是父的儿子，父借着他创造万物，又掌管万物。这是通往天父的道路，是磐石，是防卫，是钥匙，是牧人，是祭物，是知识之门，亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、摩西和所有的先知，还有这些世界的柱石、使徒和基督的配偶，都从这条道路进入，基督为他们倾倒了自己的宝血，作为他们的婚姻财产，为的是要救赎他们。所有这些都是为了唯一真神的合一。但福音拥有超越前代的东西，那就是我们救世主耶稣基督的显现、他的受难和复活本身。因为先知们所预言的那些事："直到他来，就是所预留给他的，他必成为外邦人的盼望"，已经在福音中应验了，[我们的主说]"你们要去教导万民，奉父、子、圣灵的名给他们施洗"。因此，律法、先知、使徒、通过他们信主的所有其他人，只有在我们彼此相爱的情况下，所有这些都是好的。
