第 1 章：写信的原因。
在得知你们如此井然有序的虔诚之爱后，我非常高兴，并决定在耶稣基督的信仰中与你们交流。耶稣基督是我们生命的永恒源泉，他的灵与肉，他的信与爱，没有什么比这更重要的了，尤其是耶稣和天父。在他们里面，如果我们能经受住这个世界的王子的一切攻击，并逃脱他们，我们就能享受上帝。
