第 11 章：这些事情值得了解和相信。
我不讲我不熟悉的事，也不以任何与正确道理不符的事为目标；我既是使徒的门徒，就成了外邦人的教师。我把所传给我的事传给那些配得真理的门徒。因为有谁是被爱的道正确地教导和孕育的，谁不想准确地学习道向他的门徒们清楚显明的事，道向他们显明了这些事，对他们说了明白的话，不信的人不明白，但与门徒们交谈，门徒们被他视为忠实，就获得了天父奥秘的知识？为此，祂差遣了道，要向世人显明祂；祂被（犹太人）百姓所轻视，却在外邦人中被使徒传讲时，被外邦人所相信。这就是他，从起初就有，好像新的显现，却被发现是旧的，但却在圣徒心中不断重生。教会因祂而丰富，恩典因祂而广布，在圣徒心中增长，使人明白，揭示奥秘，宣告时代，为信实者欢喜，赐给寻求的人，信仰的界限因祂而不被突破，列祖所定的界限因祂而不被超越。然后，律法的敬畏被吟诵，先知的恩典被知晓，福音的信仰被确立，使徒的传统被保存，教会的恩典被赞美；如果你不忧愁，你就会知道圣言所教导的那些事，他愿意由谁教导，何时教导。因为无论我们因圣言的旨意命令我们说什么，我们都会忍痛向你们传达，而且是出于对启示给我们的事物的热爱。
