第 3 章：犹太人的迷信。
现在，我想你一定很想听到这个问题，即基督徒不遵守与犹太人相同的神圣崇拜形式。如果犹太人不做前面提到的那种礼拜，只敬拜作为万物之主的一位神，他们的观点是正确的。但如果他们以我们所描述的方式敬拜神，那就大错特错了。因为外邦人把这些东西献给没有知觉和听觉的人，是疯狂的表现；而他们把这些东西献给上帝，好像上帝需要这些东西一样，可能会被正确地认为是愚昧的行为，而不是神圣的敬拜。因为创造了天地万物并为我们提供一切所需之物的上帝，当然不会要求那些想把这些东西献给他的人提供任何东西。但是，那些相信通过鲜血、祭品和燔祭的烟雾来献上他所接受的祭品，并通过这种尊荣来向他表示尊敬的人，在我看来，与那些故意将同样的尊荣给予没有意义的事物的人没有什么不同，因为后者无法享受这种尊荣。
