Capítulo 5: Sentencia declarada y ejecutada.
Rústico, el prefecto, anunció la sentencia, diciendo: "Que aquellos que se han negado a sacrificar a los dioses y a obedecer el mandato del emperador sean azotados y llevados para afrontar el castigo de la decapitación, de acuerdo con las leyes." Los santos mártires, habiendo glorificado a Dios y habiéndose dirigido al lugar designado, fueron decapitados, completando su testimonio en la confesión del Salvador. Algunos fieles, habiendo tomado secretamente sus cuerpos, los colocaron en un lugar adecuado, habiendo obrado con ellos la gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. A Él sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
