1 ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਸੰਭਾਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰਾ ਚੁਣਵਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀਅ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਪਰਗਟ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
2 ਉਹ ਨਾ ਚਿੱਲਾਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਉੱਚੀ ਚੁੱਕੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਣਾਵੇਗਾ।
3 ਉਹ ਕੁਚਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਤੋੜੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਨਿੰਮ੍ਹੀ ਬੱਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਝਾਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
4 ਉਹ ਨਾ ਲੜਖੜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਛੱਡੇਗਾ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ, ਅਤੇ ਟਾਪੂ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਣਗੇ।

6 ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਜਾ ਲਈ ਨੇਮ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਜੋਤ ਠਹਿਰਾਵਾਂਗਾ,

8 ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ, ਇਹੋ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਨਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ।
9 ਵੇਖੋ, ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਰਹੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
10 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਹੋ, ਨਾਲੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ, ਟਾਪੂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀ ਵੀ।
11 ਉਜਾੜ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਚੁੱਕਣ, ਉਹ ਪਿੰਡ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੇਦਾਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਲਾ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਗਜਾਉਣ, ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਸੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਲਲਕਾਰਨ।
12 ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਰਨ, ਅਤੇ ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ।
13 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਨਿੱਕਲੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਯੋਧੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਣਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਭਾਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਨਾਰਾ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਕੂਕ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਫ਼ਤਹ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
14 ਮੈਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਸਾਧ ਲਈ, ਮੈਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਜਣਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਔਰਤ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਚੀਕਾਂ ਮਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਹਾਉਂਕੇ ਭਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਔਖੇ-ਔਖੇ ਸਾਹ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ।
15 ਮੈਂ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਟਿੱਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਾਗ ਪੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਟਾਪੂ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤਲਾਬ ਸੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
16 ਮੈਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੋਰਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਨਣ, ਅਤੇ ਵਿੰਗਿਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਧਿਆਂ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਤਿਆਗਾਂਗਾ।
17 ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਡਾਢੇ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਹੋ!”
18 ਹੇ ਬੋਲ੍ਹਿਓ, ਸੁਣੋ! ਹੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਿਓ, ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਗੌਰ ਕਰੋ!
19 ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਣ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ? ਜਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਭੇਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੂਤ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਬੋਲ੍ਹਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਮੇਰੇ ਮੇਲੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਜਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਵਰਗਾ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ?
20 ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਪਰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਨ ਤਾਂ ਖੁਲ੍ਹੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
21 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਸੰਦ ਆਇਆ, ਕਿ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਡਿਆਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਦਰ ਦੇਵੇ।
22 ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਤੇ ਮੁੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਟੋਇਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਕੈਦਖ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਪਰ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਹ ਲੁੱਟ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਦਾ, ਮੋੜ ਦਿਓ!
23 ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੌਣ ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੰਨ ਲਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ?
24 ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਟਵਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਟੇਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ? ਭਲਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਹ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ? ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੱਲਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ?
