About the Septuagint reader: The Septuagint (LXX) is the Greek Old Testament used by the apostles and the early church. This reader pairs the Greek text with Sir Lancelot Brenton's public-domain English translation (1851), adds a Greek interlinear with Strong's numbers and morphology on every chapter, and includes the full Brenton canon — the deuterocanonical books and 1 Enoch included. Verse gaps in some chapters are normal LXX versification, not missing text. The New Testament continues in the public-domain World English Bible, narrated by The Historic Faith with the same voice — together they form one complete audio Bible.
