Story Behind the Song
"Build Your Kingdom Here" is a modern worship song by members of Rend Collective, a Christian folk-worship band from Northern Ireland. It was copyrighted in 2011 and became widely known through Rend Collective's album Homemade Worship by Handmade People and later live/acoustic renditions. The song is a congregational prayer for renewal, mission, and the visible coming of God's kingdom in the church and the world.
