And then one day I asked her, "Why did you decide to wear the head covering?" And she looked at me and she said, "Because I want to honor my head." And she pointed at me and I was like, "Wow." Like she has honored me her whole life, followed me to China, did we did everything together, and she's never been non-committing, and she's always had an amazing character. And to even go this far, it was just like empowering.
And it went from like, "This is a little strange and I'm uncomfortable," to like, "Yeah, this is cool."
