Jesus on Judgment Day: Works Matter, Not Just Faith

So Jesus repeatedly makes it clear that on Judgment Day, we're going to be judged on the basis of our works. And I know that sounds like heresy. This is Jesus talking, our Lord. And you may be thinking, "But Paul says we're saved by faith alone." Okay, we don't go to Jesus, we go to Paul. He says we're saved by faith alone. In fact, if we think our salvation depends upon our works, then we are eternally lost. I have been told that so many times. I've heard that.

Well, if you think that's what Paul teaches, notice what he says next in Romans. This is Paul, Romans 2:6, who will render to every man according to what? According to his works.
