It doesn't mean that we should never talk about them, but they're so bad that even when we have to talk about them, it's embarrassing. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light.
They're shown to be what they are by the light, because if something's going to make things clear, if something's going to manifest what's there, it's going to be.
