Lesson Transcript
I want to invite you to return to the primary sources. To truly understand Christ, we must go to the primary sources, those closest to Him. First, we have the inspired Word of God. This stands alone as our only authority. We have the Anabaptists. They are a rich heritage, but they are not the original source. We have the early church, men like Justin Martyr, Polycarp, Irenaeus, and many others who were taught by the apostles. Link us directly back to the apostolic foundation.
They are not perfect, but they are priceless witnesses to what the first Christians believed, practiced, and valued.
