So my question is: is there anything that can unify the Church as she sojourns through time? And today I'd like to say yes. I'd like to call us back to an ancient practice: the Lord's Supper. This is what should unify the Church as a whole, as it goes forth. However, when I look around, I think the Lord's Supper does just the opposite today.
Today churches are using it to actively rip the Bride of Christ apart when Jesus intended it to unify and empower that Bride, to bring her together and give her life and a cure over sin. And now it is pulling her apart, and we are all suffering from it.
