Understanding Sowing and Reaping Consequences of Our Ideas

In scripture terms, sowing given time yields a reaping. We call this the law of sowing and reaping. When it comes to scientific terminology, we say a cause given time produces an effect. But ideas do have consequences. And that's why we need to get this terrible story out of the closet and look at it. Because if we don't think properly with the Two Kingdom doctrine, we will experience unnecessary consequences.
And I would—that's my goal this morning—for us to learn to think the way Christ thinks with a strong Two Kingdom doctrine, so that we don't end up with the consequences that the German Mennonites experienced.
