All right, so our conclusion: this is what we've talked about—two phases of salvation. The initial phase, no works required; faith and repentance is all we need. It's fine if we have a godly life. And then after we have been saved, then we must walk faithfully to enjoy our ultimate salvation. There's two kinds of law: the law of Moses, the law of Christ. You obey the law of Christ; you don't have to obey the law of Moses.
Two kinds of works: there's the works of the Mosaic law, and there's the works of obedience to Christ. One's good; the other you don't need.
