Now, my thought as I was thinking about this, how blind the Israelites had to be, if you think about it. They had been miraculously delivered from Egypt under slavery through Moses and Aaron, crossing the Red Sea. The armies of Pharaoh destroyed in the Red Sea. God provided manna; He provided water. And the pillar of fire, the pillar of cloud, and they still complain that God's not with them. And I just thought, how blind they had to be. But I thought about, isn't that sometimes how we are?
We are actually blind to God's goodness to us. We have all these blessings, all these things that God does for us and provides for us. Like I said, that rain that day, I'm sitting there complaining about it, and we just can't see that we're, like I said, that God is good.
