Seeking God: Politics, Free Will, and Divine Control

So that they should seek the Lord in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not very far from each one of us. And so it's interesting, in the Reformed world, typically they're very careful of saying, "Hey, you have nothing to do with salvation, but you really should get involved in politics. You should really get involved in your nation and that kind of a thing." It's interesting, it seems like Paul's saying just the opposite. God's got the politics taken care of.

He's got the elect of the nations and how it's going to work so that men in their free will can literally grope. After God is powerful vocabulary of just how of how God controls things so that we in our free will can follow Him in a powerful way. And so, yeah, I look at those election passages and that type of a thing and look at it in the right context, and it's kind of exciting. Join us in earnestly contending for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
