Paul says, "I am debtor to both the Greeks and the barbarians, both to the wise and the foolish." Now he says, "I am debtor to both the Greeks and the barbarians." And Paul is using the sense of debtor in the sense of obligation. Okay, I'm obligated. Christ, when he appeared to me, he appointed me to be the apostle to the Gentiles. I've been especially called to that. So I'm a debtor. I'm obligated to the Greeks and the barbarians.
