It is work. Somebody asked recently, "Well, is marriage really that hard work?" Well, it's hard work, but it's hard work in the same way that building a castle is more hard work than building a doghouse. Like, it's harder work, but the potential is so much greater there. And really the highest goal is we become, like, Christ. We become a person like Him. We spread His love and His life in the world. We display His incredible wisdom.
And we completely overthrow the kingdom of darkness by those simple acts of obedience.
