If you think about the idea of loving God with everything—heart, soul, mind, and strength—and you think about what pride is, if we truly love God, how can we have—then you won't truly love the anti-God spirit. If you're prideful, what characteristics do you exhibit? You think of yourselves better than others. You might boast like I did when we played basketball, that, "Hey, look at my great skills." If you're truly loving your neighbor, you can't do that. Love suffers long and is kind. Love does not envy.
Love does not pride itself. Being arrogant is not puffed up. Again, pride.
