Leviticus: Unveiling the Book of Worship and Old Testament Law #shorts

Lesson Transcript

And so today I want to give an overview of Leviticus, because for the next three weeks I get the opportunity to teach Sunday school. And I hate breaking tradition, but we're going to switch from Genesis to Leviticus. And so the title of my message today is Leviticus, the Book of Worship.

Because when I look at how this book was supposed to be read and kept, when God gave it to them, this view of Leviticus, that it was too much of a burden for people to follow, and it was all these laws that God just loaded on His people, this isn't the mindset or the way that I see the righteous people from the Old Testament see it. In fact, I see people chasing after the law, after these things, and wanting to live by them.
