Jesus: The Bread of Life - Eternal Life Explained #shorts

Lesson Transcript

"This is the bread which came down from heaven. Not as your fathers ate the manna and are dead, but he who eats this bread will live forever." Jesus is taking this account of the Exodus and saying to a group of people just after He got done feeding them physical bread. And He says, "The bread that you ate, that your fathers ate in the wilderness, that was given from above and sustained you through the wilderness, that is Me.

I am the bread." And He turns around and He says, "Unless you eat of that bread," and then referring back to that Exodus journey and the spiritual rock which they drank from, "and drink of My blood, you have no life in you," that we receive power and healing and life when we partake of His body and His blood.
