What they were dogmatic on seems to be just the simple teachings of Jesus Christ. You know, are you putting to practice in humanity Jesus and His way, His kingdom? Are you establishing this on earth? That seems to be what comes out. We'd love to debate all day long on the millennium and the election and this or whatever, but doing that's the hard part. And that's the part that the early fathers seem to be the most dogmatic about. Yeah.
And so what I tell people, and it's hard to grasp, these guys were not liberal in the sense that we think of it. They are arch conservative, but that doesn't, you can be arch conservative and be open-minded. You do not have to be closed-minded, but they were not open on the question of disobeying Jesus Christ. That was an absolute. But like you say, on speculative theology, wow, those were secondary issues that you were free to have more a different opinion on as a general rule.
