Yeah, he did not like this. Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? You see then that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. Now that's not the totality of the gospel either. You can't just take James and create a gospel out of it. You've got to take everything the New Testament says. This is what Luther said about Revelation. I can nowhere detect that the Holy Spirit produced this book. Wow. My spirit cannot fit itself into this book.

There is one sufficient reason for me not to think highly of it. Christ is not taught or known in it. Has that been your experience with Revelation? That Christ isn't in it?
