Jesus' Judgment: Sheep vs. Goats - What Matters?
The separation of sheep and goats hinges on acts of compassion, not theology. Did we feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, and visit the sick and imprisoned? Our actions define our judgment. #Jesus #JudgmentDay #SheepAndGoats #Christianity #Faith #GoodWorks #Compassion #BiblicalTeaching #Salvation #Theology
Lesson Transcript
Jesus said He's going to separate, He's going to gather all the nations, all the people before Him. He's going to separate the sheep from the goats. It's totally based on what we do with our lives. Did we feed the poor and the hungry? Did we provide drink for the thirsty, clothed the naked? I was in prison and you visited me. I was sick. You came to me. Yeah, what did we do with our lives? He says nothing about theology. It doesn't mean theology doesn't matter anywhere because there are other verses.
He tells us He's the judge. He's saying, "Look, this is what I'm going to be looking for."
