I don't think a hug is appropriate between men and women, uh, today. A handshake, I think, is fine, but I think a hug should be reserved for men to men and women with women. Ironically, what I see in so many churches, men will greet women with a hug and then greet men with a handshake, and there's something very, very wrong there. That, to me, is really inappropriate. So why do you greet someone of the opposite sex with a hug?
I mean, women in those churches will often greet each other with a hug, but men typically with a handshake, but then they hug a woman. I don't feel that is at all appropriate. Join us in earnestly contending for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
