Hospitality can be defined as friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers; the business of providing food, drink, and accommodations. Now, on the next slide, my assistant invited me over to dinner one day, and active hospitality on her part. I was delighted and readily accepted. However, upon my arrival and realization of what my assistant considered to be a hospitable meal, I was a bit taken aback. As you can see, she was giving me a choice: beef or chicken.
So, in order to not hurt her feelings, I go ahead and accepted the chicken, and we had dinner.
