Verse 5: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all the Gentiles for His name. Again, he emphasizes that his apostleship was something he had received; it's not something he took on himself. And he says, "We have received grace." So grace means favor; it means several things. It can also mean a gift. In this sense here, I think he means it in the sense of favor. We have received God's favor as a gift. It was received; it's not something that we earned or that we deserve.
Okay? For obedience to the faith.
