God has given them that much enlightenment. And so God isn't punishing people who are innocent. God doesn't punish innocent people. These are people He holds accountable for the truth that has been revealed to them. He does not hold them accountable to truth that has not yet been revealed to them. But enough truth had been revealed to them that what they did, they did in unrighteousness, that they knew the truth and they decided, "No, we're going to do something different."
