But we do have the power to obey Him generally. Now, God has perfect foreknowledge of the future, so He already knows who's going to believe and who isn't going to believe. He already knows among us who are going to walk faithfully to the end of their lives, and who, hopefully, none of us here present, but who among the body of Christians today are not going to endure to the end, are going to give up before they reach the end. But His foreknowledge is not the cause of our believing.
It's not the cause of our obeying or enduring. He knows it, but He's not the cause of it.
