Full Video 👆Is This the First Stage of Salvation
Lesson Transcript
What does it mean to be saved at this first level? Okay, first of all, it means that all of our past sins are washed away. We start with a clean slate. If you died immediately after being saved, you would go straight to paradise. In other words, it's a completed work at that point. It's not like it's half done and then something more has to be added to it. You are saved if you died right then; you go to paradise. Again, now I'm telling you what the early Christians believed. You're born again at that time.
You're a new creature in Christ. You're a son of God adopted into His family. And as a new creature, you receive the Holy Spirit. Okay, well, what doesn't happen then at this first stage, you may be wondering? Well, what doesn't happen is you aren't perfect. You're still capable of sinning. I said that all of your past sins are forgiven. I didn't say all of your future sins.
