Okay, as far as what the early Christians believed about free will, they believed that all humans have free will to choose to obey God or not to obey. If you're obeying God, it's because you have chosen to do so. If you're not obeying Him, don't blame God. You chose not to obey Him. You're not a puppet. You're not being forced by God to be disobedient. We have the ability to choose to believe or not to believe. Now, this is true both before and after the fall.
