Find the One True Church? Cults vs. Congregations

Lesson Transcript

You know, and I think it's one of the things, again, when you're really looking for, I don't know, when you're kind of looking for a cult, that you want it to have this, this dogmatic thing. The whole thing of wanting it to try to come down to just one person, that congregationalism sounds, first of all, sort of too sloppy. You know, but if you think about, you know, people say, well, was Jesus a failure? I mean, he called us to be one.

You know, um, and so therefore I've got to find this one true church, whether that's Jehovah's Witness, whether that's Mormons, whether that's Orthodox, whether that's Coptic Orthodox, whether that's Russian Orthodox, whether that's Roman Catholic, you know, whatever it is. But if you think about it, and I think it's a very important point in the scriptures and in the Apostolic Fathers, never, including in the scriptures, was, did they experience what the later apologists are trying to claim even existed?

Join us in earnestly contending for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
