Fear God: Judgement Still Matters After Salvation

And then, yeah, we still have to fear the judgment. It's not all over just because we have been saved. And, yeah, that same paragraph of 28 that you read, I had marked the sentence since then. All things are seen and heard by God; let us fear Him and forsake those wicked works which proceed from evil desires, so that through His mercy we may be protected from the judgments to come. Yes. So, right. It's a sense of security, but it's not unconditional eternal security.

It's like, you better have some fear because we're not guaranteed on the judgment just because we're Christians. No, if we act wickedly, we have a lot to fear. Join us in earnestly contending for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
