And here this rabbi says this: to be a creative minority, which I love that idea, as followers of Jesus, we need to be creative. It's not easy because it involves maintaining a strong link with the outside world while staying true to your faith, seeking not merely to keep the sacred flame burning, but also to transform the larger society in which you are a part.
And to me, that's the most exciting thing: it's this amazing tension.
