Eternal Truths: Spirit of the Law Explained

But there was a spirit of the law, a moral spirit, truths in the Mosaic law that will never go away. I mean, they're still true today. They were reinforced by Jesus, such as the two great commandments. Okay? And he said the whole law and the prophets hang on this. So most of the pre-nighting Christians understood this is what Paul is saying, that we're under the spirit of the law, the eternal truths that were in the law, but not the letter. The letter kills, but the spirit of it.

All of the prophecies about the Messiah, about the new covenant, about many things. You can still read Proverbs, a lot of truths in there that have never changed.
