Short 724 views • Jun 27, 2025

Lesson Transcript

But a trial attorney is trying to prove some kind of a point, and most of the popular-level reading books, or the the the internet blogs and trolls and all that, are usually always apologists. They're trying to prove some point. If you go deeper, you find in the Orthodox and the Reformed and the the the Roman Catholics, usually you find historical theologians that are very honest, and they're saying, "Yeah, it it says this, and of course this is my view, but there's ambiguities here," and they own that.

And I think, you know, now reading this 30 years later, from when I first read this, I know in my own life, to be able to read this with a greater maturity feels a lot better. And to own the ambiguity, own the things we don't know, and not try to force on to hear things that aren't there. Join us in earnestly contending for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
