I remember this was in the 1990s, this young man, uh, we got to know, and he was in our, uh, church fellowship. And my parents were visiting, and after they left, he asked me, he said, "Now, was that your dad and stepmother, or was that your mom and stepfather?" I said, "That was my mom, and that was my dad. I don't have stepparents." He's like, I mean, he grew up in a divorced home. He thought that was just normal. And he himself was divorced. You know, his wife had divorced him.
You know, it was just like, well, this is just life. You know, in his mind, that's what he grew up in. And I feel sorry for people today who are raised in that environment. And like I say, you all are very blessed that this is not the environment you're growing up in, even though that's what's out there in the world.
