Lesson Transcript

As you can see, my assistant was feeling low, very sad, and uncomfortable after an operation. She was required to wear this plastic cone-shaped tube or whatever around her neck because the veterinary was concerned that my assistant might chew at the stitches that she had received. Now, because of this cone, she was not able to walk up the steps, and she was not to be carried for a few days. So she had very limited mobility.

So there was no way she was going to be able to walk up the steps in the evening to go to bed, where she normally slept at. Therefore, to comfort my assistant, I pulled her bed over next to the couch downstairs, and I slept next to her and petted her throughout the night and talked to her, helped frighten her.
