Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:26, he says this: "When you come together, each of you have a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation; let all things be done with edification." Paul is envisioning not a big group of spectators, but a group of participants, people who are engaged, people who are thinking about, "How can I serve here today? How can I help?" Not spectators, but participants.
