Answers to Life's Issues

Greetings in the name of Christ. Kind of a blessing to be with you tonight. Thank you, Wesley, for that challenge. It should be sufficient. Let's search for the truth and find it. And I thought of a verse in Jeremiah, "And you shall seek me and find me when you shall search for me with all your heart." And that's a promise I'm convinced we can claim and search with all your heart.

The title of my message is "Answers to Life's Issues," and that sounds like I have answers to life's issues. The scriptures do have answers to life's issues, and should not Christians have answers to give to everybody that we meet? And we live in a world of confusion and fear and anxieties, and a lot of them searching for real answers. And I find that a very challenge because I meet customers, what to say and how to give them answers, and especially those who claim to be Christian, and I don't always do so well. But we should have answers. I'd like to look at 1 John 2:18-27.

1 John 2:18-27, "Little children, it is the last time, and as you have heard, that Antichrist shall come, and even now are there many Antichrists, whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us, but they went out that they might be made manifest, that they were not all of us. But you have an unction from the Holy One, and you know all things. I have not written unto you because you know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar, but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ, he is Antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son?

Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father, but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning. If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you, but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth and is no lie, even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."

John's concern was the Antichrist that would come, and he said it's already here. The Antichrist is that which looks similar to Christ, something that maybe the talk is right, but it's actually a big lie. And they thought about the cabbage plant, the broccoli plant, or the cauliflower plant. They all look alike. How do you know what is what until the fruit comes? You're identifying the plants because you know what they are, and you know what the fruit will look like. But I think cabbage and, I mean, cauliflower and broccoli look very similar, don't they, before so this is what we're looking at, the Antichrist. And people are being deceived in verse 26, "But these things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you."

There are people that are being deceived, believing a lie and not properly discerning the outcome of this whole thing, the fruit. If you're planting for broccoli and you get cauliflower, sorry, it's not going to work, and that really won't matter so much there. But the seduce you, it's something that's very attractive, very appealing, but it is a lie and is not the truth.

And that's why John is writing these words to us so that we are not seduced, so that we're not believing a lie. And he gives us a solid foundation so that we are not deceived. When I went to school, the question was, "Why did people believe Adolf Hitler's lies?"

And the comment was made that if you make a lie big enough, they'll believe it. That didn't register too well in my brain. I couldn't figure that out quite. But I mean, if you tell me the moon is made of green cheese, that lie is big, I'm not going to believe you anyhow.

And the question that came to me, "Well, maybe I'm believing the big lie and don't know it." When I went to school, I was taught that Russia was this backward sort of nation. Their economy was poor. People were not good.

Communism. And the Russian people were fed propaganda. I think maybe they're trying to teach me what that word meant. I don't know. Propaganda is telling them lies about communism is so superior to the capitalist system in the West. That's what I was taught.

And then I learned that Russia was the first one to put a satellite into space. I thought, "Now how can this be? These people that drive horses and buggies put a satellite out. They beat the US." Maybe I was being fed propaganda. Maybe I was believing a lie.

I think it used to be that when I heard government officials and scientists and experts, I believed they told me the truth. I grew up in a home that we believed people when they told us stuff. But you know what?

I think they lie to us. Somebody said that it's not that we don't know they lie to us. We're not sure when they're lying and when they're not lying. Do you realize the confusion in our world because of all the lies that we're being told? Do you really know what's true?

I mean, my world is not that big. Someone said one time, "My world, the sun comes up east of Cheese Town and goes down west of Cheese Town." Do I know? And that's some of my concern. And what bothers me is that we're living in a time when everybody knows everything. They think they know everything. You just Google, and you can find out anything you want. And there's entirely too much arrogancy about people who know. And it's become too much of a battle over non-essentials that are not really important. In the first part of my message, I'm going to talk about the non-essentials and the. Let's not fight over them. And then I'm going to talk about things that do count and things that are important.

If you were not present in a situation to see and hear exactly what happened, you must trust your source of information.

And I know when the news came out about those that were kidnapped in Haiti, the news said one news anyhow said they were released. That was not the story I heard. I trusted those men that gave their testimony. So that's the story I believe because I trusted that source there.

And I'm afraid that some people have trusted certain sources, and they're going to end up looking like a fool because it's not true. I'm going to talk about some non-essentials and some confusion in our world, and hopefully, you'll still like me when I'm finished. And just controversial issues that I don't know if we have any business getting into debates about. Climate change, and I don't think we're necessarily going to debate that one soon. But what is true? What is real? And I give that one to the Lord. He can take care of that better than I can or anybody else. I don't know. And I believe the scriptures would indicate that it is going to be changes in the climate.

That's just what's going to happen. The big lie is that somehow we can spend billions of dollars and stop it. And that's just not true. Let's not get caught up in all those kinds of things. I do believe that Christians should live simply. Christians should not be wasteful. Christians should preserve things as much as they can. There was a customer that somehow he must have been at our house, and he told Christopher, "Yeah, your mother is sort of that old-fashioned. She's doing what was that called? Canning," he said. "Well, come on. Where are we at? Let's be people that can. It saves a lot of things."

I think about the experts. What I'm saying is there's a lot of confusion and a lot of fear and worry, and it's driving people to make wrong kinds of decisions. Let's just trust the Lord and live simply. Experts in the area of health and doctors and I went to the parochial clinic. Well, I shouldn't have said where I went, but you know where I went to the doctor. Sorry about that. But the one doctor told me, "With your cholesterol and your blood pressure, you're a walking time bomb. You're ready to collapse, and you've got to get on medicine." I went back later to the other doctor. I won't tell you which doctor was which. He said, "You're all right," he said. "That's just the medical field.

You're pre-heart attack. You're okay." So I get to choose which one I want to. The question is, should I take medicine or shouldn't? I'll have to confusion in our world and answers to some of these things. Does it really matter?

Let's be kind to each other on these decisions that we make. Some have said, "If you refuse treatment, that's like committing suicide." Sorry. Let's not go there. Let's be kind to each other in that. Years ago, when home births were first coming out, you're putting a price on life. Let's be careful with some of them. My goal is simply to live each day for the Lord. Each day he gives me, and I say face older years, the wisdom to know what medical things to do, and maybe with the counsel of my brother and help there. Let's be kind to each other in that whole area. I think that's my main plea on some of these things.

These are non-essentials. Foods we eat, and I don't know all of you here, but some get very radical on this, and those people make me nervous. Just calm down. I don't know. Years ago, if you ate white sugar or white flour, you were almost sinning. Calm down. There's no sin in that. I think our bigger problem is how much we eat.

I think about these foods. I grew up eating margarine because it was cheaper. Back then, it was healthier than butter. Now butter's healthier for you. So it cycles around. Coffee, I'm not sure where the cycle is right now, if it's good for you or bad for you.

Those are eggs. Eggs will kill you.

Listen, the confusion in our world, let's not enter into those battles and those fights. Foods are non-essentials. It's not all that serious. And some of the people that have gotten so excited about white I'm sorry, white flour and white sugar. If you're one of them, bless your heart. Eat that stuff. Eat the brown. That's all right. But listen, I've seen some of them die sooner than and now I don't have statistics on all that.

Just calm down about it all. The government, we must stay out of the government. God will take care of them too. And I know some people get experts on what's happening in the government. And I read Chuck Colson's book on Born Again, and it's very intriguing what all goes on in there. But listen, there's a lot of wickedness going on in there.

And let's not think we know intriguing stories like John F. Kennedy. That wasn't intriguing. For some of you younger ones that didn't know, they caught Lee Harvey. When Kennedy was shot, they caught Lee Harvey Oswald. And then Jack Ruby in plain daylight came up and shot him.

And then he would not talk, and he eventually died in prison. That makes a very intriguing thing. Why did they want to shut him up? Why were they afraid to talk? And there's tons of stories that roll out about that whole thing and who was behind it. Let's stay out of that. Let's just give that to God. And let's not fight nor act like we're experts on some of these things.

We don't know, okay? Stay out of some of that.

Stories of the Clintons. I mean, I heard Hillary should be in prison. Do you know? I didn't see any head shaking. Stay out of that. It's none of our business whether she should be in prison. Trump and the collusion with Russia. Do you know? I don't know, and you don't know either. Sorry.

And now Hunter Biden. What was he up to? Let's stay out of that. Let's give that to the Lord, and let's not scrap over it or act like we know what is going on. 1 John 4:19, "We are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness." We know that. Listen, we are in a wicked world. We are of God. We give that to the Lord. Let's not try to be experts on things that are not even for us. I have one last one here. I'm going to say it quickly, and I'm going to move on, and we won't ponder long. COVID-19, that has caused more problems than enough.

I am so disappointed by how many problems it has caused in churches. It should not be. Mass, vaccine, testing, mandates. What's true and what isn't? Do I know? No. Do you know? No. Sorry. You don't know either. Nobody knows. And the one from Plain News says something about a confusion on the mask mandate. That was confusion. They can't decide either on the whole thing.

Vaccines, do they help? Will they kill you? Will they change your DNA, destroy your immune system? I don't know. You don't know either. Sorry about that, but. And I read in the Anabaptist Voice, 1,993 doctors, nurses, and medical personnel around the world. They formed an alliance called Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance, FLCCC Alliance. You ever heard of it?

You heard of it. Okay. And they have done wonderful studies on this thing. Ivermectin, it is effective. It is the finest treatment. And they actually had in there about Brazil had 23 million cases with a 97% recovery rate.

And it was shortly after that I read in the Wall Street Journal source that Brazil this was in the same country did a test on 1,358. I don't know if I have my numbers right. And half of them that came in that tested COVID, they gave a placebo, and the other half, they gave ivermectin.

Zero difference. It is absolutely not effective at all, okay? There you got your two sources. You can believe what you want to believe. If you're an expert on it, that's fine. Okay. So if you refuse the vaccine and you die of COVID, or if you get the vaccine and you die, if you refuse ivermectin and die, and if you take ivermectin - I don't know if it'll kill you or not - but you die from taking it, does it matter from the decision and the choices you okay?

Listen, it's a non-essential. Let's give our lives to the Lord. Let's not fight about the thing. Let's give it over. Will you stand condemned before God because you didn't know the right treatment and you didn't take it? Let's no.

The thing that will count is the condition of your soul. That's what will be important. That's an essential in life. Where is your soul? Is it safe with the Lord?

The rich man lifted up his eyes being in torment. "Send someone to tell my brethren." He said, "No." He said, "If somebody would come back from the dead, they would believe him." He said, "They have Moses and the prophets, and if they came back from the dead, they wouldn't believe him anyhow."

We have the scriptures tonight. We want to look at that. We live in a world of darkness and confusion and fear, and there's too many Christians who are involved in that confusion and fear on things that don't count. There are things that do count, and we must get them right. We must make sure that we understand what is right and what isn't. Confusion in Christianity, what's true and what isn't.

And tonight, we can't afford to experiment. We can't decide if we're broccoli or cauliflower because the fruit will come out in our lives, and we must get it right. This year, I had the opportunity to visit REACH. I don't know if you all know what REACH is, but it's the mission opportunities. 2,500 people were there, every size and stripe and flavor of Anabaptist Christians that you would want to see.

There would have been a time in my life where I went to that place; I'd have come home with a horrible headache because there was so much confusion, and I couldn't sort through all of it. I think as an older person, I'm able to sort through it better. My concern tonight is for young people. As you look at this whole mess, young families, young people, don't get it wrong. Don't be deceived by false Christians. You've got one life to live, and you want to get it right. That's what I want to talk about tonight. And John gives us direction on this whole thing, clear direction. John makes things very black and white, and we live in a world that does not like black and white.

I think the goal of every Christian is to make things as crystal clear as we can make it when it comes to Christianity, as black and white as we know how.

And again, we don't always see everything clear, but there are some defining marks that we must get straight. I'd like to read verse 19 again. That verse had me confused for a long time as to what it was saying. "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us. But they went out that they might be made manifest, that they were not all of us."

That one just seems to go in circles for me. But listen, tonight, there are two camps, they and us. The same thing as in chapter four, it talks about they and we. Are you part of the they camp, or are you part of the us and the we?

There are people who say, "I want nothing to do with Christianity. I reject that whole thing." They are in the they camp. There are Christians who claim to be Christians that have been seduced and are believing a lie, and they went out from us, and they are in the they camp. They are not of us and we.

Am I part of the we and us, or have I been deceived? We need to answer that question in a very careful way. Have I been deceived? Have I believed a lie that is not true?

Pilate stood before Jesus, and he said, "What is truth?"

The question that is difficult to answer, was Pilate saying that because he was confused, or was Pilate not willing to say what was the truth? He came out to the people, and he said, "I don't find any fault in this man." Later, he washed his hands.

When I give these points about that John gives here, I know there's going to be the critic that says, "You're judging harsh judgment." I'm thankful that God will be the judge tonight. I mean, whenever he finishes all up, he'll be the judge.

And everybody uses this loophole, "Well, we didn't know. We didn't understand." And that part is true. But again, back to this thing, if you really want to know and he talks here about an anointing. I'm convinced that when a person makes a commitment to Christ, he's excited about following Christ, and he wants the Lord, there's an anointing that comes upon his life. And from that point on, he's in a battle, and the world is Satan is trying to deceive him and trying to seduce him to believe a lie. And when a person comes up against truth, and he knows truth, and he says, "I don't like it. It doesn't fit my program," you're headed the wrong way.

And if you read in 2 Thessalonians, the key here in a simple nutshell is to love the truth. And I'm going to look at these four points here as to what John gives us that we would clearly define what true Christianity is.

The first one we already read, verse 20 to 24, "Do you have an unction from the Holy One, and you know all things? I have not written on you because you know not the truth, but because you know it and that no lie is of the truth. Who is the liar, but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father, but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning. If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son and in the Father."

And it's probably one of the easiest ones to give a clear definition. The fact that Jesus existed is an historical fact, and anybody can know that to be true, and you can't refute that. Many would say he was a good man. Muslims would even say he was a good prophet, but they deny the fact that he was the Son of God.

There is a tendency in our thinking and in many Christian circles that somehow they don't understand. They believe in Allah. That's just a different name for God. So they believe in God. They're nice people. I am so tired of hearing this nice people, and I understand that. There are some very nice people. But listen, this scripture makes it very plain. If they do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God, they don't believe in the Father.

It's a false doctrine. It's a false teaching. That is a very clear guideline. Jesus is the Son of God. He is the Christ. There is no other name given under heaven whereby men must be saved. We don't pass our judgment on all people, but it is our responsibility to declare the truth and say, "This is how it is."

1 John 2, verse 1 to 6. I want to mention one thing there. Verse 22, John uses some pretty strong language. He is a liar, and that's pretty strong. 1 John 2, verses 1 to 6, "My little children, these things write unto you that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous, for he is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him if we keep his commandments. He that sayeth, 'I know him,' and keepeth not his commandments, and here it comes again, is a liar."

That's pretty strong language, isn't it? He is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word in him verily is the love of God perfected. Hereby know we that we are in him. He that sayeth, 'He abideth in him,' ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

And again, that big loophole. But they don't know. They don't understand. And I don't think as Christians, we should not be so bold as to say that we have fulfilled and understood every commandment there ever was. But I believe as Christians, a person who is a Christian desires to know the commandments of Christ. He desires to understand the Sermon on the Mount. He wants to please the Lord Jesus Christ. He wants to obey him.

Two heresies that we are living with and facing. It doesn't really matter how you live. The grace of God. I saw a picture. It was at an abortion rally, and this lady was promoting abortion, and she was holding a sign, "He is our propitiation." She didn't understand propitiation. Listen, if you've had an abortion and you're repentant of it and you're confessing that as a sin, he is a propitiation for healing, forgiveness, and for coming back to the right relationship with God, but he does not cover the thing just because you want to do it. We cannot blatantly declare, "I can do whatever I want to, and he's our propitiation." It does not work that way.

And again, we're living in a time when everybody is wise, and everybody will say, "Well, I don't see the scriptures that way. I don't understand it that way." And there again, listen, I believe again, if we will be honest with the truth, it will come out in a good place, in a right place. And there again, that's where the body of Christ must be very responsible to give clear understanding what the scripture teaches and its application.

He says in verse 5, "But whoso keepeth his word in him verily is the love of God perfected." I am convinced that a person who desires and obeys Christ's commands, the love of God becomes perfected in his heart and how he responds to other people. And that's the third one. In 1 John 2, verses 9 to 11, "He that sayeth, 'He is in the light,' and hateth his brother is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness and walketh in darkness and knoweth not whether he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes."

And he uses that same phrase in chapter 4, verse 20, "If any man say, 'I love God,' and hateth his brother, he is a liar." Straightforward, plain truth. We need to understand that. When I think about 1 John 4, it says, "A perfect love casts out fear."

To be able to love like God loves, there is a total freedom in your life. Total freedom because nobody can do you dirty. Nobody can do you wrong because you love them. Nobody can be hurt that has the love of Christ in their heart toward other people. I think about the times when somebody will give you a nasty comment.

We're quick to forgive. False accusations take advantage of you financially. Listen, when the love of God is in our heart, there's no ill will towards anyone. It's just a beautiful place to be, and it is the evidence of God in you.

You see someone that is angry, somebody that is bitter, somebody that can't get along with people, I think of the Anabaptist that was on trial for being an Anabaptist. He said, "No, he's not an Anabaptist. He doesn't get along very well with anybody." Some people can't get along with anybody. It's not the evidence. And I think the bottom line here on this whole thing, the doctrine of nonresistance, is that too straight across the board?

Can you love your brother and shoot him? Is that a clear dividing line between they and us? Is that too harsh of a judgment? And again, we let this judgment with God, but we need to declare that in a right way.

And when I say some of this, we're not always defining certain individuals that they are a part of the they, but some of these things began to separate in our mind where we're at and where they are, and we are not them.

The last one is 1 John 4, 4 to 6, "Ye are of God, little children, have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. They are of the world; therefore speak, 'They are of the world,' and the world heareth them. We are of God; he that knoweth God heareth us. He that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth and the spirit of error."

Worldliness

has always been the difficult thing to define. One church said, "We don't allow worldly music in our church." Do you allow any worldly music here? No, you don't. What's worldly music?

What is worldliness, and how do we give a definition to that? And again, in 1 John 2:15 to 17, you know the verses, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof. But he that doeth the will of God abideth forever."

The pursuit of this world is for the pleasures of life. The pursuit of this world is for its riches, and the pursuit of this world is for its honor. Do you speak that language? Do you hear that? The Christian, in a very simple way, does not pursue that, but he pursues the cross of Christ.

They don't understand that. They don't hear that. Is that where we are? Am I of God? Is my focus on the cross? Do I look and talk like a Christian and yet hear and speak the language of the world?

It's a heavy question that we need to ask ourselves. Is my pursuit the same as theirs, but I have a label of being Christian on me? What is my pursuit in life? And we must individually ask that, and I believe that it's a place to challenge each other on that whole thing.

Philippians 3:17 to 19, "Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk, so as you have us for an example. For many walk of whom I've told you, even weeping, for they are the enemies of the cross of Christ, whose end is destruction."

Mark them. Those that are pursuing after the things of this world, mark them. You do not want to identify with them. Don't be deceived by it all.

Too many Christians look at people that are wealthy, long vacations, nice houses, nice homes, and wish they could do it. They speak the same language. They wish they could. The thing that is real in life is to take up the cross. The question I have for you, your heroes in life, are they men like Paul or men who have obtained the success of this world? I've seen too many people who say, "Yes, we should live in voluntary poverty. We should live simply." Boy, when they talk about someone that was very successful, their eyes light up. And just think of that. Just think what they're like. What language are we speaking?

The big lie that people believe is that this world has something to offer them.

The big lie that people believe is if I would have wealth and success, I would be happy.

The big lie.

And I believe I've been guilty of believing that big lie at times. It's not true.

We need to be soldiers of the cross. We need to be done with all that pursuit after that thing.

Who do you honor? Who do you admire in life? As I thought about that question, and I've been reading, I read Barry Grant's book in his work in Haiti. I admire that kind of faith. I admire that kind of a person. Bruce Johnsey in Ukraine spent 20 years there building the Church of Christ. I admire that. His heart was in it. You could tell when he shared there his testimony.

Who are you honoring tonight? You will become like the person you honor. Can you clearly see what is honorable in life or not? I've been sharing in the book of Romans, and I'm on chapter 15. And I looked at chapter 16, and I wasn't sure if I could make a sermon out of that. Maybe I'll combine the two. How many of you know what chapter 16 says? I mean, have you read it? And I guess if you've read through the Bible, you've probably read it.

But I don't know. We don't read it too often because all it talks about is greet so-and-so, salute so-and-so, and names you can't even pronounce. So we don't read it, okay? And I know when it says to salute, it just means to greet. If you don't mind, I'm going to change that. Salute to me.

Doesn't the army don't they salute and honor? I believe Paul I just found this beautiful, so I'll share it. I might be all off scripturally, but Paul in Timothy says about Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world. And Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil. The Lord rewarded him according to him. And he lists these people in Romans 16. Phoebe was one of the ladies. Salute her. Give her honor. She is a servant. And equivalent pursuit. We're servants. Salute them.

Tonight, I believe that we should salute men and women that are honorable men and women, soldiers of the cross, and stop saluting successful businessmen and men that are living for their flesh. And I didn't finish in Philippians 3. Whose end is destruction? He says, whose God is their belly?

Who glory and shame? Who mine earthly things?

In Romans there, there were some interesting verses there at the end. I guess I never picked up on it.

There are some there that are not just saluting. Verse 17, "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned, and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ but their own belly." There it is again.

I guess it's the same word. People who are simply living for their flesh, their own sensual pleasure, their own desires, avoid that kind of people. They are not genuine Christians. Look at men and women who are soldiers of the cross, who are servants, who have given their lives in service to others.

Those are the kind of people we want to salute and give honor to.

I won't pick out any names and salute any of you ladies tonight, but I salute you for your modest apparel, for your large covering. I salute you for your spirit of meekness and humility. It's honorable, and you need to be saluted for that and for you, brethren.

I salute you for standing for the truth. Sometimes when you go to weddings or funerals, somebody somewhere did not stand for the truth. Somebody somewhere believed a lie. They were seduced. And you're seeing the fruit of that. Let's stand for what is true and right. Let's love the truth. Let's love the commands of Christ. Let's love to do His will. I salute you for standing fast. Don't be moved by the flowery Christianity that is at ease. It won't bring you out in a right place. One of the big lies that we face in life is that everyone is going to heaven.

Listen, life is serious. You won't read an obituary that says, "He rejected Christ, and he loved the world, and he'll spend eternity in hell." You won't read an obituary like that. It's a big lie, though. Everybody is going to heaven. It's not true. Listen, life is serious. Let's be faithful to the truth that we know and continue to seek after Christ. Let's give clear direction, clear words to those that we meet. I'd like to read that last verse in 1 John chapter 2, "And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He shall appear, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming."

There are going to be some people that when He comes again are going to be ashamed because they lived their life for themselves and not for the Lord Jesus Christ. Let's take up our cross and follow Him. Let's not be deceived by a loose, false Christianity that is not following Christ, is not a soldier of the cross. Let's be faithful till He comes.
